Shoe Wednesdays: Miu Miu Glitter Pumps

I couldn't resist posting these. The little five-year-old girl in me is screaming with joy while the adult me is trying to figure out how to justify the purchase of a gold banana-looking glitter pump. It's an interesting line between love and hate.

Who am I kidding? It's love. It's grown-up Dorothy Gale after she grew tired of those ruby slippers. Really, who wouldn't love owning these? Perfection in glitter.

$630 at Net-a-Porter (I really got to stop spending so much time there. I promise next week will be an affordable one). And you've seen the boot version, right?

  1. I love these. And yes, of course, the bootie version too. Totally irrelevant to my life, but totally fantasy-appropriate!

  2. Nomadic D,

I would love to have the kind of life that calls for a shoe like this.

  4. Do you really need a reason? I feel as if the shoes themselves are reason enough!
I'd totally wear these everywhere... finger painting, fighting crime, cooking dinner... Or just start planning my Christmas party outfit early?

  5. I swear I look at these miu miu pumps once a day! I say, go big or go home! Totally worth the investment, right? It'll never go out of style because, well, when it comes to a golden banana glitter bomb...is it really about being "in" or "out" anyway?? -MB

  6. I am so in love with the boot version of these (minus the peep toe....I'm not a fan of peep toes in general). The curved heel is a great detail.

  7. I LOVE these! I have the peeptoe flats from a couple of seasons ago and I absolutely LOVE the glitter! I believe they can ALWAYS be justified :)

    Enjoy!
