Oh dear, this shoe is trouble. At whopping $850, it's not really in my current (trying to save for a trip to Paris) budget, yet I keep going back and admiring it over and over again.
There is something so striking about that straight sole so sharply bridging the front and the back. Also, I love the combination of matte black leather and the chalky white embossed texture. And, finally, that thin T-strap wrapping around the back of the heel. Kind of Margiela-esque.
PS. I had T-straps last week too. It's hard to fight what heart desires.

I think this shoe is more pretty and striking than anything you have posted so far! you should seriously think about of buying it, perhaps it will be marked down a little in the future?
Anonymous,
I'm lucky (yes, lucky!) to have big feet (size 40) so I'm able to get most shoes on sale. Fingers crossed.
I love T-straps too--they're so classic and easy to wear. These ones are quite architectural though; interesting juxtaposition of modern lines and classic styling.
I feel exactly the same way about these. I've had them on my Shopbop wishlist for about a month now and waiting for them to go on sale is kind of causing me physical pain. Phillip Lim always knows how to tear at my heartstrings!
you should get them before the paris trip, imagine wearing them and walking down the Parisian boulevards, nothing could be more fine.
It's ONLY $850, how you have NOT bought these shoes by now is beyond me. Although, it's true what anonymous says, you could wait until they go on sale because they will most likely have your size ;)
