Beauty Fridays: Tom Ford Private Blend Lipstick

This is probably going to read like a very odd product review. In fact, please stop reading unless you want to witness me profess my undying love for Tom Ford.

I have a theory: lipstick is a lipstick. And this happens to be a $52 one. Yes, $52. To be honest with you, I don't see the difference between the $16.50 MAC, $40 Chanel and the $52 Tom Ford. But I do feel the difference. Tom Ford is pure sex. When you wear it, it's like wearing Tom Ford on your lips: sultry and classy, yet just a little bit dirty. We put on make-up every day because it makes us feel good about ourselves, and that's exactly what a little Tom Ford can do for you.

My choice of shade is 'Moroccan Rouge,' a spicy berry shade that compliments my pale complexion and dark hair impeccably (surely he designed it for me, right?). Sure, the lipstick is smooth, moisturizing and it does stay on for a long time, but, like I said, it's so much more than that. Call me crazy, but I do think it's worth every penny. I'm so in love that I'm posting a picture of myself wearing it, and I almost never do that!

$52 CAD at Holt Renfrew.

Oh Anya, you are hilarious with a true love for Tom Ford. No other has professed a love more genuine than yours. Tom Ford most certainly designed Moroccan Rouge with you in mind ;) The colour looks great on you! I love how the words "private blend" makes the lipstick sound just that much more exclusive.

You look gorgeous in the photo wearing Moroccan Rouge! I agree with you, Tom Ford lipstick is worth the money for how it makes you feel. Bruised Plum is coming to New York with me.
