Prada s/s 2010 campaignAs soon as I saw Prada's spring campaign, I immediately exclaimed (in my head, of course): "I want those lips!"
I needed it right away! That amazing burnt orange with candy coated gloss! Prada's runway make-up is usually created by Pat McGrath (who is a freaking genius) of Cover Girl. So I ran across the street to a drugstore and... no luck. Nothing even close!
Thankfully, the staff at Nylon magazine were just as obsessed! They, having way better connections than I do, found out that it was actually a mix of Makeup For Ever's "Orange Red #204" and Cover Girl's Shineblast "Fire" on top. Thanks Nylon!

But if you are too lazy to mix and layer (like myself) and want the convenience of one product, I found two great lipstick alternatives that are (almost) as exciting.
So kissable!

It IS an amazing colour! So unusual. Good job tracking down the info and presenting it to us Anya!
I looooove that orange-y colour and the trend... but sadly it is so hard to find a nice orange to with my tone.
love the burnt orange lip! it's hard trying to imagine the mix of MUFE's lipstick and that Cover Girl lipgloss.. I'm kind of tempted to try it out myself haha. That Cargo lipstick looks pretty though!
I've been meaning to go try the MAC Morange in person, have great things about the wearablity of that shade. Great blog!
