I love the nautical look for the summer. It's always in so I consider purchasing nautically inspired items an investment. It's great finding fresh takes on the look like this cotton Phillip Lim 'Captain' jacket from the resort collection. I love the collarless back with the juxtaposing large lapels at the front. Oversized pockets are always a good thing in my books. And of course vertical stripes are always very flattering.
Also, I should note that Phillip Lim uses the softest silk lining ever. I always feel like I'm slipping on a pair of silk pajamas when I'm putting on his coats.
