Shoe Wednesdays: Maison Martin Margiela Peep Toe Booties

These are the boots that I obsessed over during my entire Hong Kong stay. I went back to the store over and over again just to touch them. They are soft like butter and light as a feather. It appears to be a simple boot but it is actually an intricate fold of gray and black leather that forms this boot. I love the way the leather ruches at the front and drapes into the heel in the back.

This bootie is from the MMM's pre-spring 2010 collection which is believed to be Martin Margiela's final collection from MMM.

Unless you have a MMM store near you, you can buy them at Net-A-Porter for $1,045 US.
