I have a feeling that Mulberry's 'Alexa' will be the most coveted bag of 2010. The fashion industry has been buzzing about it for months now since it was first worn by its namesake Alexa Chung in the summer.Designed for the British 'IT' Girl Alexa Chung, this Mulberry bag is every urbanite's dream (a dream that comes in multiple digits). It can transform from a messenger daytime bag to a cool evening satchel just by detaching a shoulder strap. I love the braided detailing on the handle. It comes in many sizes: the oversized 'Alexa', the 'Alexa', and the 'Alexa' clutch. And of course, in many colours and textures. I truly adore this bag.
Available on January 12, 2010 at selected Mulberry retailers and at www.mulberry.com, the 'Alexa' bag starts at £695, the 'Alexa' clutch starts at £450. I'm not sure what the US/CAD price will be yet but I'll update as soon as I find out.

There should be an "Anya" bag, I could totally see it. I love this bag for it's convertible versatility and classic silhouette. It looks amazing in that deep cognac colour. SIGH. Great pick dear!

In my dreams, there is a Lanvin bag named 'Anya' designed especially for me by Mr. Elbaz. It's a small satchel with a shoulder strap and it has a little bow on it.
Gorgeous! What a perfect everyday bag ... without an everyday price tag, unfortunately. Love the oversized version in the nude colour. Some day, perhaps!
